Memorial TX Homes
The smaller communities of Bunker Hill Village, Hedwig Village, Hunters Creek Village, and Piney Point Village make up what is known in Memorial as "The Villages." These areas are autonomous from the City of Houston, and have their police departments and mayors.
Many Memorial homes have been built after the 1960s, and include a number of modern designs and spacious square footage. There has also been recent development of brand new luxury homes and upscale townhouses in the area, thus adding to the excellent selection of real estate in Memorial. Housing prices start in the mid-to-high $200s, and go upwards to multi-million dollar estate homes.
Residents of Memorial enjoy the area's picture-perfect scenery, and access to the 1,500 acre park known as Memorial Park. This wooded area is a haven for joggers and cyclists. The park is also home to tennis courts, a skating rink, swimming pool, a softball field, and a newly renovated 18-hole golf course, which has been rated the best municipal golf course in Texas.
